Hallelujah! Halle-freakin-lujah! Soccer is over and I'm so excited. This season Hunter wasn't too interested, but I wanted to teach him the importance of sticking with something and not quitting.
After...
several practices
whining before each practice
11 games
filling Hunters ball with air more times than I can count
two balls kicked to his stomach
one ball to his face

He kicked the ball twice on purpose
and 10 on accident (meaning the ball rolled into Hunters foot)

...All I have to say is
HALLELUJAH!

he looks pretty happy holding that trophy! our kids don't have the attention span at all. at each of our soccer practices addy would play 5-10 minutes and then run over and report to me that she had "won" and she was done now. truth be told they had just finished streches and warm up :) gotta love kids
Hahaha, that cracks me up. Interesting to see it from the mom side :)
Oh, and I love that he only kicked the ball twice on purpose :)
I am rolling right now. That is so funny. Great visual writing. I think he did really well this season. Kailey loved having him on her team. Are you sure you don't want to try basketball though;)
oh abbey apparently i am logged onto em's blog on her computer, but it is me Sarah commenting.
LOL!! I totally hear you!! I was so happy soccer was over this year too. No basketball? Really? You mean you don't want to do this forever?? Grin.
