I guess there is one good thing about living close to an AF base. The planes that fly near our house entertain Austin. Yesterday he stood and looked out one of our windows for at least an hour.
Every once in a while the Air Force pilots do practice take offs and landings (at least I think that is what they are doing) They take off, circle the air, then land. They do this with several planes, one right after the other.
Yesterday they happened to be flying right over our house, which would have usually been pretty annoying, but since it was entertaining Austin, I didn't mind. It actually might be nice if it happens more often, since keeping Austin occupied these days is a losing battle!!
Austin is feeling a lot better(knock on wood.) I have to say that croup is one of the scariest things ever! Hopefully that was the one and only time we experience that!

So glad that he is feeling better!!! Our kids love the planes also - especially when we know Daddy is in one of them.
I am so glad Austin in better. Croup is super scary. That is sweet that you can see the planes flying.
Austin is such a cute little boy. I love how the simplest things can be the greatest things through the eyes of a child. Glad he is feeling better.
