Not much to blog about

I just don't have much to blog about I guess. Lately we have just been getting ready for the baby (6 more weeks!) and getting into the school routine. I've been busy making lots of things for the baby's room. I'll put up some pictures later, when the room is put together. Hunter loves school and his teacher. Austin is...being two. Uh, the tantrums! I never know what mood that kid is going to be in.
A couple of weekends ago Hunter had his first lemonade stand. He didn't make that much ($9 minus $6 for supplies) but he had a lot of fun doing it.

Also, we finally got some rain! We have been in one of the worst droughts on record here and we had the hottest summer on record. We had 57 days over 100 degrees, typically we get an average of 12 days over 100 in the summer. We have been miserable! Fall is here. I'm happy to say I am enjoying the low 90's. :) I wish I would have got a few pictures of the boys playing in the rain. It was priceless.
Here I am at 34 weeks. I am really enjoying this pregnancy, but can't wait to meet our little girl.

1st day of 1st grade

Today Hunter started first grade. Hunter LOVES school and enjoys learning. His teacher, Mrs. Rodgers, seems really nice. He is going to have a good year.

Hunter really wanted to have a one strap backpack...already into the trends. He thinks he looks pretty cool with it on.

Hunter's signature pose. The normal ones are hard to come by. By the way, we are in an awful drought, so don't mind the half-dead lawn.

Getting bigger

Today I'm 27 weeks. I have grown a lot in the past 7 weeks! Besides having a little back pain and occasional morning sickness I'm feeling great! This is a welcome change from my other two pregnancies. I hope the last trimester treats me well!

Summer!

Wow! This summer is going by so quickly, I can't believe it's already the middle of July. I've been busy with our busy toddler. Trying to keep up with him is insane! Hunter has been enjoying the pool and reading. He is becoming a good little swimmer and reader. He's also getting good at Lego Starwars and eating a lot of snacks...but we won't get into that. ;) Here is a look back at the last couple of weeks.
We went to Sea World for fireworks on the 4th. It was HOT and CROWDED. It took us 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot. The fireworks were excellent, but remind me never to do that again! Austin was hilarious. The fireworks scared him to death, yet he couldn't stop watching.

Last weekend we went to a Fun Fest at a ranch north of town. It was a really cute place and Hunter, Kailey, and Alyssa (some of Hunters friends) even got to see "Hannah Montana" perform. Hunter has no idea who Hannah Montana even is, so he thought it was alright, but Kailey and Alyssa were stoked they got to meet the REAL Hannah Montana :)

Austin loves animals but wouldn't go near them.

Trying on Dads Motorcycle gear
We found Austin sleeping in his bottom drawer one night. He does the funniest things!
Can you say we need new dress up clothes? haha

I keep finding new artwork around the house. Have no idea where it's coming from!

"To Do List"

I got this in an e-mail from a friend. I love Hilary Weeks, so I thought I would share it.

Will's graduation and fun with Grandparents

Yesterday was Will's graduation ceremony. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in management. I can't tell you how proud I am of him! Although Austin barely made it possible for me to see Will walk the stage, I managed to get a five second video recording of it. He is two now, which apparently authorizes temper tantrums in the middle of important ceremonies) My sister-in-law, Kayla thank goodness snapped this picture.

Will's family came to visit for a few weeks. Here is a few pictures of all the fun we had!
Warning: Lots of pictures!

Texas style safari
We went on a Safari drive they have about a half an hour out of town and the boys loved it! The animals come right up to your car and you can feed them. I have to say the ostrich was a little scary though.

Mexico!

Two weeks ago I went to Mexico for my sister, Brooke's, wedding. Unfortunately Will and the kids couldn't go, but it was a nice break for me. It was so nice and relaxing. I think I had my share of virgin strawberry daiquiris and mango tangos! We did a lot of awesome things. My favorite thing to do was snorkeling. We went a couple of times to Turtle Beach and saw tons of turtles and tropical fish. It was awesome. I don't have any pictures of that, but I'm sure you all would have loved to see me in all my snorkeling gear. Ha!
We went to Chichen Itza. Our tour guide was LDS, so he put a LDS spin on the history. It was interesting to hear about. I just wish I remembered more from that day. The sun was so intense, I think I was concentrating more on walking than remembering what he was saying.

The wedding was beautiful and my sister looked amazing. Richard is one lucky guy :)

My wonderful Mom and Dad

My beautiful sisters and me

My goofy looking, I mean, handsome brothers

Brooke did my hair on my wedding day, and hers. Thanks Brooke!

My gorgeous sister Melanie and I at dinner

these iguanas were all over the resort.

The buffet at the resort was hilarious. They translated almost everything wrong. My favorite thing...Peabut Butter. It wasn't half bad either ;)
