Baby Shower!!!

On Saturday, my friends Sarah, Kelli, and Sandra threw me a baby shower. It was so much fun and I got a ton of stuff for the baby. I couldn't believe how generous everyone was. Sarah, Kelli, and Sandra really out did themselves. Notice how all the decorations match the baby's nursery (so cute!)

My mom comes to town on Tuesday. It will be nice to have the help and someone around all the time since I've been anxious about how fast my labor might be. She is coming down earlier than planned just because I asked if she could. Mom's are awesome like that.

Look at the cute diaper cake my sister sent (along with too much other stuff ;) and this tutu my friend Sarah made. Both are so cute!

37 weeks...I feel humongous

I've really enjoyed this pregnancy, but I have to admit I'm finally feeling DONE! I am getting very uncomfortable and big. I have 3 shirts that fit, I can't sleep, I can't bend over, I have to go to the restroom every 10 minutes, and a bunch of other normal end-of-pregnancy stuff. I can't wait to meet this little girl who's been making me miserable wriggling inside me.

Austin had to get in on this pic

Here is her room. It's not quite finished, but I probably won't get pictures up unless I do it now. I plan on having a few more things on the wall, (above the dresser and chair) and a lamp shade, just haven't got around to it yet.
I had so much fun decorating the nursery. I love being able to walk into a room that is "girly". I haven't had one of those before... :)

Here are some of the crafts me and my friends have been busy making.

Here is the diaper bag I made. It's actually a purse, but I made mine to be a diaper bag. It even has pockets inside. We were pretty proud of ourselves :) I also made a matching changing pad and diaper/wipes holder.

Wall art (above the crib) I also made the crib skirt, the window shade, the blankets on the crib and chair, and the pillows on the chair

We made these pumpkins. I'll post the website for them later. I can't remember it.

You'd think I would learn

Austin loves watching me put on my make up everyday. Sometimes he grabs my blush brush or some other item and pretends to put it on. Up until now, I just thought it was cute. A week ago, I found him with all my make up hiding in a corner.

At least he only got to my mascara.
Pretty good for your first time Austin :)

A few days later I found the same thing, only he got into my cover up and blush. That was fun to get out of the carpet. You'd think I would learn to put my make up somewhere else. But no, it's still in the same place. In my defense, he has to break a child lock off the closet door and climb up a shelf to get to it. I don't know why I even bother to put the child locks on. The little stinker can take them off.
